To be completely transparent, not all insurances are made equal. Certain insurance plans take extended time to pay out therapists and or dictate how many sessions we can provide, limiting the client to have choice in their treatment. In order to sustain our practice we need to make sure we are able to manage insurances in a timely manner and for that we are not able to be in network with all insurance carriers. We are a small practice and pride ourselves in the quality of care we provide. Allowing to be in network with select insurances gives us more time to cater to our clients and our mission.
-
A superbill is a receipt of payment that is provided to you to provide to your insurance carrier. Most insurance plans can cover up to %80-100 reimbursement. The superbill has all the information needed for insurances to accept for approval- date of the session, billing code, service location and your information.

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most challenging right now, and what you hope to get out of therapy. You’ll have space to ask questions, share your concerns, and get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll take it one step at a time.

Because we provide specialized treatment, meaning we customize therapy for your specific needs, the number of sessions will vary from person to person. Some clients end therapy after 8-12 sessions and some prefer the long standing support for maintenance.

A Good Faith Estimate is an estimate of what you can expect to pay for therapy when you are paying out of pocket or your services aren’t being billed through insurance. Under federal law, healthcare providers are generally required to provide an estimate of expected charges to clients who are uninsured or not using insurance.
Before beginning therapy, you’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of your services based on the frequency and duration of treatment we anticipate. Because therapy is individualized and your needs may change over time, the estimate is not a guarantee of the total cost of treatment.
